PhD Candidate

I am a doctoral student in Counselling Psychology at the University of British Columbia (UBC), currently undertaking a practicum at Bloom Psychology Clinic under the supervision of Dr. Cardoso. I offer individual psychotherapy services for adults. My clinical focus includes addressing issues related to stress, anxiety, perfectionism, burnout, and self-esteem.

My therapeutic approach is strengths-based and client-centered. I have taken additional training in evidence-based therapies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT), which I integrate into my highly relational way of understanding clients’ needs and presenting concerns. I am keen to co-create a personalized therapeutic experience, establishing a safe, non-judgmental space for clients to curiously explore and address their challenges.

I have accumulated diverse clinical experience through various practicum placements, including the UBC Psychological Services and Counselling Training Centre and the UBC Psychotherapy Program within the Department of Psychiatry. I completed my bachelor’s degree in psychology and my master’s degree in Counselling Psychology at UBC. My research interests are centered on stress and coping in high-demand occupational settings.

I am passionate about advancing mental health and well-being across the lifespan. My goal is to work with clients to develop resilience, improve psychological well-being, and achieve growth through compassionate and evidence-based interventions.
